About Stone Bank Farm Market
Stone Bank Farm Market is a neighborhood market, a working farm and a community experience located in Stone Bank, Wisconsin. We offer seasonal produce, artisanal groceries, pasture-raised meats, and grab-n-go prepared foods. We believe in knowing where our food comes from, in shaking hands with the people who grow it and in honoring the land we live on. We provide responsibly sourced foods to our community along with education programming focused on the importance of responsible agricultural stewardship.

The farm is dedicated to producing delicious, high quality, organically-grown vegetables, herbs and flowers on a half-acre of land that includes raised vegetable beds, field beds and greenhouses. We take great pride in using sustainable growing practices in our gardens and the 75 acres of preserved farmland surrounding our property where we raise beef cattle, pigs and sheep. 

Position Overview
We are seeking a hourly, seasonal Garden crew member to be a part of our team this fall and for the full growing season next year 2026. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pack shed: wash, sort, grade, package and label produce, track inventory of production
  • Greenhouse: seeding crops, transplanting, watering, trellising, harvesting
  • Gardens: soil prep, planting, cultivation, watering, weeding, harvesting
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, organizing equipment and materials
  • Occasionally assist with Market events
  • Initiate innovation agricultural projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Some experience working on a farm or in professional gardens (preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to work at pace in all weather and temperatures
  • Ability to bend and reach repeatedly for extended period of time
  • Ability to lift and carry 50-lbs

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Focus on quality and attention-to-detail
  • Clear verbal communication skills

The Garden Crew position is hourly seasonal August 15 – October 31, 2025 and March – October 2026. The days required are Monday, Thursday and Friday + every other weekend Saturday or Sunday watering. The hours are between 7:30am and 4pm.

In the Kitchen, we keep the food supply chain as short as possible, using our farm’s produce as well as produce and meats from local partnering farms to create delicious, healthy, and environmentally sound dishes. The Kitchen creates prepared foods for the Market and offers a select menu of seasonally inspired hot food items in the café located in the Market ran by Nourish, an orange juice, smoothie and coffee bar.

Position Overview
We are seeking a hourly full-time, collaborative AM Café Cook to join our Kitchen team. An experienced, strong command of fundamental cooking techniques as well as culinary sanitation practices is required. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and execute made to order dishes for the cafè
  • Set-up, manage, and break-down cafè station
  • Bake-off morning pastries (prior baking experience not required)
  • Track and prepare mise en place for cafe items
  • Participate in cafe menu development
  • Assist with daily kitchen tasks, such as dish washing, order receiving, and dry storage organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Professional kitchen experience preferred (1-3 years)
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
  • Current ServSafe certification

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Creative, flexible and passionate about cooking seasonally
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment

The AM Café Cook position is hourly full-time (32-40 hours per week). The days required are Sunday-Wednesday or Friday-Monday (flexible to negotiate days), and the hours are 7:30AM to 3:30PM. The AM Café Cook may be called upon to assist with prep and execution of special events (usually weekday evenings) + rotate Saturdays, specifically during the summer months.

We are seeking a hourly, Dishwasher and Kitchen Support team member who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand as needed
  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitized
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including floors, walls, and trash areas
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling according to procedures
  • Restock clean items in their designated areas
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and other duties as assigned
  • Monitor dishwasher chemicals and cleaning supplies and report when low
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • No formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work weekends

The Dishwasher and Kitchen Support position is hourly. The number of hours and days worked are negotiable Sunday – Saturday, 7:30AM to 3:30PM.

How do I buy tickets?

At Stone Bank Farm Market.

What if all the tickets are sold out?

No worries! Bring a lawn chair, friends, family, neighbors and enjoy live music, drinks, ice cream and preorder a seasonal salad.

Do you have salads?

Yes! Preorder a seasonal salad for $15. Each salad serves approximately 4 people.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Sorry, state law prohibits carry-ins.

Can I bring my dog?

We love animals, but no dog visitors on event days.

Where do I park?

In the back pasture behind the greenhouses.

What time is Pizza Night?

The event opens at 5pm. Please be on time for your ticketed time slot. Example: a 5:30pm ticket allows for making your pizza between 5:30-6pm.

•The Homegrown Market will be held at Stone Bank Farm N68 W33208 County Rd K and Hwy C Stone Bank WI, 53066
•Saturday, September 12 9:00-3:00pm and Sunday, September 13 10:00-2:00pm
•A vendor space is $225 for the 2 day event
•Load in and set up: Friday 4-8pm and Saturday morning from 7-8am
•Load out: Sunday immediately following event
•You will have access to electricity but will need to bring your own lights, power strips, extension cords, etc
•You must furnish your own tables, chairs, display materials, signs, etc. 
•Vendors may leave their tables and or canopy frame overnight at your own risk
•Indoor vendor spaces are 8’ farm table which is provided for use if desired
•Outdoor spaces are 10’x10’ and vendor must provide tent
•There will be no arriving late and no leaving early. If you have not arrived by 8:00am Saturday morning, The Homegrown Market reserves the right to change your original booth assignment
•This is a rain or shine event. We plan to host the event outdoors but can accommodate all vendors with indoor booth spaces in the chance of poor weather conditions
